Marco Ferrari is a Master Stylist from Milan, Italy, with 25 years of experience.
He attended beauty school in Milan and left Europe's fashion capital for London to further his education in cosmetology at The Vidal Sassoon Academy. Marco started his career as a stylists working at Tony and Guy in London. After living in Italy and London, he moved to the U.S. 15 years ago. He has a very loyal and large clientele thanks to his high attention to detail and impressive skill set. Marco has mastered the popular hair painting technique of today which is Balayage and Foilayage; he also specializes in razor/precision cutting, as well as detailed highlighting.
Marco had the honor of working in New York Fashion Week 2017 beside the celebrated French stylist Odile Gilbert! Marco is a bi-costal hair stylist working in DC as well as LA; he works in LA at the celebrity stylist Michael Canale’s salon.
He also works with the International Dry Hair Cutter Mike Karg and together they perform at hair shows within the US. Education has always been a passion of Marco’s so he is dedicated to train cosmetologists out of school through the Summit Salon Associate Program.
This allows him to train a future hair stylist by having them assist him with color and blowouts which lets him accommodate twice as many guests.
The associate works under Marco for 8-10 months then moves to the floor as a junior stylist. This training program always allows us to develop recently graduated cosmetology students, put them on the salon floor and nurture them into successful high-producing hairstylists.
